Dr. Matthews is originally from northern New York state, and attended dental school at SUNY Buffalo. She moved to North Carolina for a 3 year residency program in Prosthodontics at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. During this time, she also earned a Master’s Degree based on her research on the effects of radiation therapy on implant success rates.
Dr. Matthews began her prosthodontic practice in 1999 in Burlington, NC and moved her practice to Greensboro in 2001. Her practice now focuses on implant prosthodontics, including single and multiple tooth and full arch restorations, as well as conventional dentures.
